Looking to assess the viability of your business idea? This six-part business planning series will introduce you to the crucial elements you need to consider when you start a business. Business planning is essential to developing a thriving enterprise that provides essential goods or services while providing a return on investment for its owner. At the conclusion of the series you will have completed a draft business plan that will serve as a roadmap for operating your business.

Attendees will:

  • Examine the key aspects of your business including finance, marketing and operations and identify and prepare for potential challenges before you invest money, time and resources

  • Identify key trends and factors that can affect your success or threaten your livelihood

  • Understand the importance of knowing your competition, target market and industry

  • Ask tough questions that challenge your assumptions

  • Understand what it takes to start and grow a small business

Please note that this is a six (6) part series meeting every Monday from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. starting Monday, August 2, 2021 through Monday, September 13, 2021. (Please note that class will not meet on Monday, September 6th due to the Holiday.)
